Lake City Council adjusted the boundary lines of its four election districts to have similar numbers of voters in each district. The ordinance passed on its second and final reading Monday evening. there were no comments during the public hearing.
The Council, sitting as the Community Redevelopment Agency, met prior to the council meeting and approved a request for bids for a multi-use pavilion in Wilson Park. The request specifies a steel-frame building, 60 by 100 feet, with a rustic wood finish.
The pavilion will hold 175 to 200 people for weddings, receptions and family reunions, said City Manager Wendell Johnson.
